A fisherman is now facing criminal charges in Owen County after catching over double the bag limit of white bass at Cataract Falls.
Indiana Conservation Officers Matt Mauder and Nick Hartman watched the man catch multiple white bass before conducting the fishing check. He was found to be in possession of 29 white bass. The daily bag limit is 12.
The man, name unavailable in this report, was issued a criminal summons to appear in Owen County Court. The illegal fish were donated.
