Duke Energy is clearing vegetation that has overgrown several high-voltage power lines in West Central Indiana.
The clearing is being done with a helicopter and an aerial saw. They are working thru the month of March in corridors of Washington to Edwardsport, Sullivan to West Terre Haute, Prairie City to Harrison, Harrison to Russellville, Crawfordsville to Rosedale, and Montezuma to Cayuga.
Duke Energy says all citizens in those areas have been notified. Also, areas where the helicopter is to be are marked and flagged in advance.
