Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle and person in the 10,000 block of Hawthorn Road on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The caller stated that an unconscious male occupied the vehicle with his pants down and possibly armed with a firearm.
County Deputies and an officer from the Bourbon Police Department responded to the scene and found the male conscious. They identified him as 35-year-old Christopher Montgomery of Forest Place in Culver.
Montgomery was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and open alcohol containers and suspected drugs were in the vehicle.
Montgomery resisted law enforcement and ended up being transported to the Plymouth Hospital for injuries and a chemical test.
Christopher Montgomery was booked into the Marshall County Jail for resisting law enforcement, operating a vehicle with a BAC of 1.5 or more, and possession of marijuana and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
The Bourbon Police Department and Plymouth EMS assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
