Marshall County K9 Bear alerts to narcotics in a vehicle and a 27-year-old South Bend woman is arrested.
A Marshall County Sheriff's Deputy stopped a vehicle on U.S. 31 at 11th Road at about 9:30 Sunday night for false and fictitious license registration. While talking with the driver, Mackenzie Craig, it was found that she had never held a valid driver's license.
Marshall County K9 Bear alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, and after a search, deputies found a small amount of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Mackenzie Craig was transported to the Marshall County Jail and lodged for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and operator never licensed. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
