A Clinton man found himself behind bars on sexual assault charges following an investigation by the Rockville Police Department.
On Saturday, officers began an investigation in the 600 block of North Lincoln Rd. Through the course of investigation, officers learned that the suspect had brandished a firearm and shot the gun out the window of a moving vehicle the night prior while traveling with the victim in Parke County.
An investigation prompted Police to look for Cory Clore, 34, Clinton. He was located in the 800 block of Walnut St. in Clinton.
The investigation resulted in Clore being arrested on charges of Rape, a Level 1 Felony, Intimidation, a Level 5 Felony, Criminal Recklessness, a Level 5 Felony, and Pointing a Firearm, a Level 6 Felony. The Rockville Police Department was assisted by the Clinton City Police Department and the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office.
