The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Common Council will meet Monday evening at 6 and 6:30 in the second-floor meeting Council Chambers of City Hall.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from various department heads. The Clerk-Treasurer will present two requests from St. Michael Church, one for a street closure and the second to allow the Holy Procession Walk.
The Common Council will conduct a public hearing on the Tax Abatement request of ADDD Equities LLC and a second public hearing for the re-establishment of the Cumulative Capital Development Fund. Also on the agenda is the consideration of an ordinance re-establishing the CCD Fund.
The Council will review the tax abatement compliance forms of Indiana Wheel Corp. (IWC). There are two resolutions declaring certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area ERA). The first is for Plymouth Hospitality LLC, for the proposed Hampton Inn on Miller Drive across from the LifePlex, and the second is for AK Industries. Also on their agenda is the resolution confirming the real estate of ADDD Equities to be in an ERA, the second step of the tax abatement process.
The city council is also expected to approve a resolution for Harman Restaurants Inc. recommending the issuance of a permit to sell alcohol at 101 S. Michigan Street in the Plymouth Riverfront District. The final resolution for consideration is the request of George Schricker for a Commercial Revitalization Rebate Program Grant.
Also on the agenda is the 2022 4th Quarter Council Report by Baker Tilly, an update on Stellar Communities Projects, and comments by the public on agenda items only.
