A 27-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of methamphetamine on September 19th.
At approximately 9:20 Thursday morning, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a call from a female who reported her vehicle stolen. She told police it happened earlier in the day and said the suspect was back at her location.
Deputy Haygood spoke to the suspect, Chase Thomas, 27, of Freeman Drive in Plymouth. Thomas told the officer he had permission to use the vehicle.
The registered owner denied giving Thomas permission to use the vehicle.
Thomas gave Officer Haygood permission to search him and suspected methamphetamine was found.
Thomas was placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked for Possession of Meth and Theft of a Vehicle, both Level 6 felonies. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
