The Bridgeport City Council met Tuesday night in regular monthly session at City Hall in Bridgeport. They did approve the 2024 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Street and Alley Maintenence program. After entering into executive session, the council did emerge to indicate they were going to make a offer to a potential employee candidate for the city water department and would be soon advertising for summer employees. It was also announced that bids would soon be opened for work on the problematic sewage lagoon project.
