Jail Booking
• Roger A. Clevenger, 49, 2027 N. Old U.S. 31, Rochester, was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of nonsupport of a dependent. He is held without bond at the Fulton County Jail.

Police Incidents
Welfare checks
• At 10:13 a.m. Monday, police received a request for a welfare check on a man residing at Water Haven Apartments, 300 E. Fourth St. His sister had reportedly not heard from him in five days and was concerned. A caretaker was contacted to get in touch with her.
At 7:11 p.m. Monday, police were called to the 1700 block of Madison Street on a report about a family possibly living out of their car. An address on Audubon Avenue was additionally checked. Police records indicate that the Department of Child Services was able to make contact with the parents and see their children, with follow-up to occur.
Fire issue
• Residents in the 1200 block of West Ninth Street were advised to extinguish a burning mattress around noon Monday.
Suspicious
• At 11:21 a.m. Monday, police received a report that a woman was heard yelling after ringing a doorbell in the area of Liberty Lane and Fortna Drive. It was later reported that she was banging on doors along Dogwood Drive, after which the sheriff spoke with her.
Property damage
• Shortly before 2 p.m. Monday, police received a report that a pipe was damaged by a vehicle at 2979 SE Lakeshore Drive, Macy.
Reckless
• At 3:04 p.m. Monday, police received a report that the driver of a white truck turned into the parking lot of Rochester High School after driving recklessly through town and nearly hitting a group of children.
Leaving the scene
• At 3:21 p.m. Monday, a man reported that someone in a black Ford F-150 drove away after striking him while he was out of his vehicle at State Road 114 and County Road 250 West. The man stated his vehicle was fine, but his hand was hit by the suspect truck.
Trespassed
• At 5:24 p.m. Monday, police received a request to issue a no trespassing warning to a man for The Cross, 100 W. Third St., after allegedly being disorderly.
Wreck
• Shortly before 7 p.m. Monday, police received a report of a single-vehicle crash with no injuries at U.S. 31 and County Road 100 North.
