Bill Woodward has officially filed as an Independent candidate for West Township Trustee, submitting his candidacy on June 3, 2026.
Woodward, who has lived in West Township for the past 16 years, is sharing his campaign announcement with residents and outlining his reasons for seeking the office.
"The current trustee has been in office for more than 20 years, and I believe it's time for change and to bring accountability, integrity, and transparency to the West Township Trustee position," Woodward said.
Born in Puerto Rico while his father served in the Air Force, Woodward attended John Glenn High School before moving to California, where he owned his own business. He returned to Indiana in 1993 and eventually made Plymouth his home. He has a daughter, a son, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Professionally, Woodward owned a business in California and spent 19 years working in quality control and as a field representative in the communications tower industry. He later worked in high-speed aluminum stamping until his retirement.
Woodward is running as an Independent candidate for the West Township Trustee position in Marshall County.
