MACOG updates and maintains two crash dashboards: one for fatal and serious injury (FSI) crashes, and another for all vulnerable road user (VRU) crashes (bike, pedestrian, and horse and buggy) that have occurred throughout the region since 2019. These dashboards enable local jurisdictions and the public to view crash data using interactive filters for specific years, locations, or crash types. The dashboards have recently been updated to reflect crash data for all of 2024. In 2024, crashes resulting in fatal & incapacitating injuries in the MACOG region reached 432. This continues a downward trend in crashes over a 3-year period from 2022 (771 crashes) through 2024. In 2024, VRU crashes in the MACOG region reached 263. This value is higher compared to 2022 (251 crashes) and 2023 (209 crashes).
