Two men were arrested Tuesday evening after a road rage incident escalated into a physical fight in the parking lot of Low Bobs on West Jefferson Street.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers were dispatched to 1212 W. Jefferson Street at approximately 6:24 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, following a report of a fight in progress. The caller advised that two males were fighting in the parking lot.
While officers were en route, the caller reported that one of the men had left the scene, but the other remained at the business. During the investigation, city officers were able to locate the other male who had departed.
Officer Fisher identified the two men as Ronald Scott, 58, of Ed Cook Boulevard in Plymouth, and James Tuttle, 56, of South Bend.
Investigators determined that the fight started as a road rage incident in which one driver pulled out in front of the other. Both parties sustained minor injuries from striking each other.
Both men were arrested for battery and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
