Northwest Indiana Business Magazine recently announced that 1st Source Bank won five of their 2025 Best of Business Awards in the Banking and Financial category. The awards won were all in Michiana and included Best Bank for Business, Best Bank for Customer Service, Best Business Investment Firm, Best Institution for Obtaining a Business Loan, and Best Wealth Management Advisory Firm. Each year, the publication’s readers take a survey to vote for the best businesses in Northwest Indiana and Michiana in various categories. According to the website: “The survey provides readers the opportunity to acknowledge local business leaders who are excelling in their service to the community. The Best of Business Awards promote excellence in innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership in the Region's business community.”

2025 marked the 20th anniversary of the Best of Business Awards survey that recognizes business excellence in the Northwest Indiana and Michiana area.
