MORRISTOWN -- Asa Odum defeated a small field of racers while Arianna Roller bested 14 other Girl Scouts to claim the title of 2024 Derby Days champions.
Odum (photo, left), age 9, the son of Shane and Renee Odum, defeated Laikin Stout Saturday afternoon in the boys championship race to become a Derby Days champion in just his second year racing down the U.S. 52 hill in Morristown.
Roller (photo, right), age 10, the daughter of Gary and Alexis Goin, defeated Kaylie Thompson in the championship race to capture the girls championship. This was Roller’s second year competing in Derby Days.

All the competitors Saturday in the Derby Days races are in Morristown Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs.
