The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a traffic pattern change on State Road 63 as a part of ongoing construction between Montezuma and Newport.
Beginning on or after Wednesday, July 8, INDOT contractors will implement a new traffic pattern on S.R. 63 between U.S. 36 and S.R. 71/County Road 150 N. During this phase of construction, traffic will shift from the northbound lanes and utilize the southbound lanes in both directions. The purpose of the traffic shift is to allow crews to resurface the northbound lanes.
The entire project is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2026.
