Arts in the Park will take place Saturday at Shelbyville's Blue River Memorial Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Scheduled activities include:
- Balloon art
- Kites (decorate and fly)
- Dulcimer music
- Library art projects
- Face painting
- Flute making
- Origami
- Sidewalk chalk art contest
- YMCA art project
In addition, there will be a historic portrayal of the United States in 1776 by Mrs. Copperpot.

- Noon Painting with Dawn
- 12:15 p.m. Daniel Lusk Magic Show
- 1:15 p.m. Chords of Friendship
All activities are open to the public with no admission fee.
