South Bend St. Joe opened up a 2-0 halftime lead with six second half goals in a win over Plymouth Wednesday in girls soccer, 8-0.
Meg Baxter scored three times for SB St. Joe (4-5-2).
Three sophomores led Plymouth (1-9) in steals. Sophie Cantero recorded 15 while classmates Lila Hanyzewski had 12 and Andrea Gonzalez 10.
Junior Lauren Kopetski had a shot on goal for Plymouth.
Plymouth coaches called the first half some of the best minutes the team had played all season.
Plymouth travels to Mishawaka Saturday for an NLC matchup. JV kickoff is 5:30 p.m.
