Plymouth United FC, a non-profit youth soccer organization based in Plymouth and Lafayette Futbal and Futsal are welcoming special guest and former professional player of Guadalajara and the Mexico National team Patricio “Pato” Araujo for a soccer clinic!
Pato Araujo is the first Mexican to lift a FIFA U17 World Cup as Captain for the Mexico U17 National team in 2005 at the U17 World Cup in Peru.
Pato had the opportunity to play at the international level against top teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and the best players of the world like Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Lewandowski, Marcelo, Di Maria, Iniesta, Villa, Rodney and many others.
The Plymouth United FC soccer clinic will be held on the Plymouth recreational soccer fields, Behind Martins Supermarket this Sunday, July 23rd from noon till 2. The clinic includes 90 minutes of technical skills, small-sided games, and scrimmages. There will also be 30 minutes set aside for photos and autographs with Pato. The cost is $30 cash.
