For the second game in a row, the Lawrenceville baseball Indians were shut out by a conference opponent.
Tuesday, they traveled to Newton and lost to the Eagles 10-0 in the Little Illini Conference (LIC)> The hosts scored 10 runs on 12 hits and made no errors on the day while the Tribe were held scoreless with only 3 hits and committed 2 errors.
The loss extends the Indian losing skid to 8 with a 2-13 overall record and 0-5 in the LIC.
