Deputy Williams with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop Thursday, March 7th at 3:20 in the afternoon at Michigan Road and U.S. 30.
The driver was identified as 36-year-old Ezequiel M. Ramos of the Queen Road Trailer Park in Plymouth. He was found to be driving on a suspended driver's license.
Ezequiel was booked into Marshall County Jail at 4:02 p.m. for driving while suspended prior, and a suspension within 10 years. He was able to bond out at 4:38 p.m.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
