Oliver Ford Lincoln is proud to announce Cailey Markley as a recipient of the Ford FFA Scholarship, recognizing her dedication to agriculture, leadership, and community involvement.
Markley, a Marshall County native, has been deeply connected to agriculture throughout her life. Growing up on her family’s livestock farm and influenced by her mother, an agriculture educator at Argos Community Junior-Senior High School, she developed a passion for FFA at an early age. Through her involvement, she has gained valuable leadership skills, personal growth, and a strong sense of community.
“FFA builds a strong community around agriculture and helps you grow as a person,” Markley said. “I would not be who I am today without FFA.”
Throughout her journey, Markley has demonstrated strong time management and commitment, balancing academic responsibilities with active participation in FFA events, leadership opportunities, and competitions. Her efforts reflect the core values of FFA—hard work, service, and personal development.
Upon receiving the scholarship, Markley expressed both excitement and gratitude. “It was a moment of relief and excitement,” she said. “It’s a recognition of all the hard work I’ve put in over the years.”
Markley plans to attend Purdue University, where she will pursue a degree in agriculture at one of the nation’s top-ranked programs. The scholarship will assist in covering educational expenses and provide opportunities for advanced coursework, involvement in agricultural organizations, and potential study abroad experiences.
Oliver Ford Lincoln remains committed to supporting the next generation of leaders in agriculture and investing in the local community. By awarding scholarships like this, the dealership aims to empower students who are passionate about making a lasting impact in Marshall County and beyond.
