The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will host a Mobile Food Distribution in Marshall County this week.
On Thursday, a mobile food distribution will be held at Bourbon Helping Hands, 204 North Washington Street until 10:30 a.m. or while supplies last.
Assorted food items are offered free of charge. All items are pre-boxed and pre-bagged and served on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, for those in need of food assistance. Only one box or bag is permitted per household.
The mobile food distribution is a drive-through. Participants are to remain in their vehicle and open their trunk to receive items. An area will be available for self-loading if your trunk does not open.
Indiana OCRA sponsors this food distribution and will serve 150 households.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana serves Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, St. Joseph, and Starke Counties in Indiana.
