Improvements are being planned in the future for the Lawrence Public Library located in Lawrenceville.
The Board of trustees met Tuesday with Jason Wright, architect with the firm Architecture& Design Group (ADG) based in Mt. Carmel.
Board chairman John White led the discussion of the planned upgrades, which include electric automatic opening front door to the facility, replacement of several heating and air conditioning units, piping replacement, and upgrading the rear doors. The work would be done in phases, instead of all at once to reduce costs. Wright gathered all the information received and indicated that there would be cost estimates formulated and then brought back to the board over the next couple of months.
