With the May 5th Primary Election quickly approaching, early voting is officially underway in Marshall County, offering registered voters several convenient options to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.
For those looking to vote during the week, in-person early voting is currently available at the Marshall County Clerk’s Office, located inside the Marshall County Courthouse. Voters can cast their ballots Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Clerk's Office will also be open for a final half-day of early voting on Monday, May 4th, from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
To accommodate residents who are unable to vote during regular business hours, the county is offering special weekend voting hours this Saturday, April 25th. From 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., registered voters can cast their ballots at two convenient locations: the Marshall County Courthouse in Plymouth and the Bremen Missionary Church, located at 2958 Elm Road in Bremen. On Saturday, May 2nd, voting will also be available in the County Courthouse and in Culver and the Culver School Administration Building at 700 School Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Additionally, Marshall County provides an absentee voting option via the Travel Board for residents who are homebound or confined due to illness or injury. Bipartisan teams from the Travel Board are available to visit voters at their residences to assist them with casting their ballots from now until Monday, May 4th.
Residents who need to utilize the Travel Board service must request an appointment. To make arrangements, homebound voters or their caregivers should contact Marshall County Election Administrator Mindy Keilman directly at 574-935-8713.
Election officials encourage all registered voters to take advantage of these early voting opportunities to avoid potential lines on Primary Election Day.
