The Marshall County Council will conduct a Work Session this morning at 11 in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
Initially, this meeting was scheduled to be a joint work session between the Commissioners and the County Council but Commissioners Kevin Overmyer and Mike Burroughs are unable to attend the meeting so the council will conduct a Work Session for themselves.
Council members will be discussing a variety of matters including Health Insurance, the American Rescue Plan Funds, the Special LIT which funds the jail bonds and a substantial amount of daily operations at the jail, the process of hiring Municipal Advisors, Conflict of Interest and the County Highway Department.
The Council’s Work Session is open to the public and will be live-streamed online at co.marshall.in.us.
