Jail Bookings 

The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:

• Byron P. Green, 49, no address available, was arrested Friday on a warrant charging him with dealing in methamphetamine. He was picked up at the Indiana State Prison and held on a $50,000 surety bond. 

• Donald E. Agnew Jr., 32, South Bend, was arrested Saturday on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana, as well as a warrant issued out of Hamilton County. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at County Road 50 and Meridian Road and held on a $500 cash bond. 

• Anthony A. Smith, 26, 1491 Sweetgum Road, Rochester, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at 312 Riverwood Acres Drive and held on a $200 cash bond.

• John D. Vavrecan, 47, 4301 S. 1200 West, Kewanna, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of nonsupport of a dependent. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at 440 W. State Road 14 and held on a $680 cash bond.
 

• Kimberly A. Cunningham, 49, South Bend, was arrested Monday on a preliminary charge of driving while intoxicated. She was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at U.S. 31 and Wabash Avenue and later released on her own recognizance. 


Police Incidents

Suspicious
• At 7:29 a.m. Friday, police received a report about an unknown black truck being in a driveway at 1014 Fulton Ave. It was not there upon an officer's arrival, and no signs of forced entry were found. 
• At 4:36 p.m. Saturday, police received a report that a man had been following teenage girls through Dollar Tree, offering them money to go have drinks and wings. He was later issued a no trespassing warning for the store.
• At 5:27 p.m. Saturday, a man residing in the 500 block of Mitchell Drive reported that a woman living downstairs from him tried to get into his apartment. There were no signs to show any kind of attempted entry, according to police records.  
• At 2 a.m. Monday, a female juvenile reported that someone grabbed her and threw her into a vehicle while she was walking near Rochester City Park. She stated they then stopped and let her out, and she ran to Speedway to call police. She was checked by medics, with no injuries observed, and transported to Woodlawn Hospital upon her request. 

Citizen assist
• At 9:08 a.m. Friday, a woman reported that a Bowen Health employee tried to take her phone at Burger King, 2440 Main St., during an argument. She was advised that it didn't appear to be a criminal issue. 
• Shortly before 4 p.m. Friday, police received a request to ask a group of juveniles playing on property of Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, 1101 Jefferson St., to move along due to liability issues. 
• At 2 a.m. Saturday, police received a complaint about someone revving an engine for quite some time in the 1200 block of Elm Street. 
• At 2:25 a.m. Saturday, police received a complaint about loud music coming from an apartment at 211 Northgate Circle. When advised of the complaint, a resident advised they would keep it down. 
• At 11:24 a.m. Sunday, a woman reported that her 15-year-old son sent pictures to someone that he thought was a female and that person is now threatening to leak them if money isn't sent. 

Domestic battery
• At 9:25 a.m. Friday, police received a report that a man was battered by his girlfriend at a residence in the 200 block of Pontiac Street. The woman's family later claimed that she was battered by him and was advised to have her make a report at the police department.

Ordinance related
• On Friday afternoon, police left warning notices for: An unlicensed vehicle at 2408 Bayview Drive; trash/junk at 1615 Mitchell Drive; junk and an unlicensed vehicle at 530 W. Ninth St.; a freezer, tires and miscellaneous items at 412 W. Eighth St.; an unlicensed vehicle at 2311 Waterview Drive; an unlicensed vehicle at 1609 Idlewild Drive; and trash/junk at 810 Jefferson St.
• On Monday afternoon, police left warning notices for: Unlicensed vehicles and trash at 1330 Pontiac St.; trash/junk at 401 Franklin St., Akron; a couch at 1715 Ewing Road; junk at 627 Madison St.; and mattresses at 1120 Bancroft Ave.

Fight
• At 4:22 p.m. Monday, police responded to Pilot, 389 Rochester Crossing Drive, on a report of a fight between two men. The altercation reportedly started in the bathroom and continued into the parking lot. One man stated he was pushed from behind by the other man, who wanted to meet outside and had left before officers' arrival. 

Safety concern
• At 7:27 p.m. Friday, an officer stopped to speak with juveniles riding bicycles in traffic in the area of Rochester Boulevard and Ninth Street. They were advised to be more careful. 

McDonald's report
• At 8:39 p.m. Friday, police received a report that a man pulled his pants down and flashed others through a window at McDonald's, 101 McDonald Drive. Police records indicate that there were no customers or employees matching the description provided

Drug trash
• Shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday, police received a report about a syringe being found at Ninth Street and Fulton Avenue. It was reportedly still in its original packaging and was to be disposed.

Cited
• At 2:34 p.m. Saturday, an officer was dispatched to Rochester City Park on a report that a man was smoking marijuana while walking around. After approaching the man, the officer could reportedly smell the marijuana and located it on his person after a consent to search was given. The man was subsequently cited with possession of marijuana, given a court summons and released with a 30-day no trespassing warning for the park. 

Child abuse
• At 5:40 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported that she and a few others saw someone hitting a child at Kroger, 2040 Peace Tree Village. A license plate number of the suspect's vehicle was provided to police, with an attempt to locate initiated. 

Juvenile complaint
• At 1:22 p.m. Sunday, police received a report that juveniles in a blue Honda Civic were using a slingshot to shoot things at customers and employees at Kroger. They had reportedly left prior to officers' arrival. 

Leaving the scene
• At 3:13 p.m. Monday, police received a report that someone in a silver Ford Flex drove away after hitting a pole in the parking lot of Walmart, 2395 Main St.
