Brooke Rausch struck out 10 batters as the Winamac Warriors got past North Judson-San Pierre 7-4 in softball action on Monday.
Rausch surrendered five hits and two runs over four innings while walking none.
Winamac (12-3, 4-0 Hoosier North) got on the board in the top of the second inning after Lauren Bruce singled, scoring one run. Makayla Werner then tripled, scoring two more.
Winamac added a run in the third as Corrin Combs singled to center field. Grace Roth hit a solo home run to center in the top of the seventh.
Molly Madsen took the loss for North Judson-San Pierre (4-6, 2-1 Hoosier North). She went the distance while giving up seven runs, six of them earned. The starting pitcher went seven innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on 11 hits, striking out three and walking one.
