Waldron’s best pitcher and Morristown’s leading hitter have been selected to the Mid-Hoosier Conference’s All-Conference Softball team.
The 12-player squad includes Waldron’s Alyssa Benson and Morristown’s Nevaeh Cox.
MHC champion Hauser had five selections – Lucie Asher, Izzy Brunner, Haylin Campbell, Maley Jordan and Paige McDaniel.
Also selected All-MHC were South Decatur’s Molly Eden, North Decatur’s Sarah Swain and Edinburgh’s Alix Streeval, Kenna Streeval and Kyah Streeval.
Eight more players were named Honorable Mention. They are Edinburgh’s Eloise Cox and North Decatur’s Libby Crawford, Kendall Hostkoetter, Elizabeth Meister, Kacie Ogden, Madison Rohls, Kennedy Stier and Carmen Thackery.
Hauser head coach Andy Brunner was named MHC Coach of the Year.
The Jets captured the MHC title with a 12-0 record. North Decatur was runner-up at 8-2. Edinburgh was third at 6-4 followed by Morristown (4-6), Waldron (2-8) and South Decatur (0-10).
