Lawrence Unit 20 athletic officials have informed GIANT-FM WAKO that due to the intense heat, several outdoor athletic events scheduled for Tuesday August 27th have been postponed or cancelled. The Parkview-Paris Mayo junior high baseball game at Lawrenceville has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, September 11th. The Parkview Lady Braves softball game will now be played at 7 p.m. Tuesday August 27th vs Palestine at Hutsonville. The Parkview Jr High cross country meet scheduled for Tuesday, August 27th has been cancelled. The high school golf match scheduled for the Lawrenceville-Red Hill golf team at Fairfield Tuesday August 27th has been cancelled.
