 
                            
As Triton Central prepares for its first volleyball semistate appearance, two Tigers were announced as All-Conference performers.
Senior Gwyn Williams and junior Lucy May were selected to the 12-player Hoosier Legends Conference squad.
Also selected All-HLC were Tri-West’s Caroline Ward, Grace Hargis, Finley Dakin and Blair Brenner; Indian Creek’s Adriana Williams, Alexa Sichting and Gabie Francis; Monrovia’s Ava Keen and Josey Kizzee; and Speedway’s Hayli Clampitt.

Tri-West (23-12) defeated all five of its conference foes to collect the first HLC championship.
Indian Creek (18-9, 4-1 HLC) was the runner-up, finishing ahead of Triton Central (24-8, 3-2), Monrovia (11-21, 2-3), Speedway (7-22, 1-4) and Beech Grove (2-27, 0-5).
Both Tri-West and Triton Central won regional championships and will compete Saturday in semistate tournaments.
Triton Central will face Eastern (Pekin) at noon at Bedford North Lawrence. Tri-West will face Jasper at 10 a.m. at Jasper High School.
