Triton Central’s Zeke Robertson closed out the indoor track and field season Saturday with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the Hoosier State Relays Small School championship event.
Held at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Robertson crossed the finish line in 8.38 seconds to earn a podium finish (photo, far left).

Robertson (photo) teamed with Braden Brown, Cash Compton and Landon Slone to place 10th in the 4x200 relay in 1:34.05.
Triton Central’s Willy Baugh finished 18th in the shot put with a best throw of 45 feet, 2.75 inches.
Waldron’s Will Larrison placed 20th in the 3,200 in 10:13.25.

Shelbyville finished 0-4 in its first official event of the now-sanctioned IHSAA boys volleyball season.
The Golden Bears lost to Lafayette, from Kentucky, (27-25, 25-21), Guerin Catholic (25-9, 25-17), Columbus North (25-23, 25-10) and Fort Wayne South Side (27-25, 25-10).
Shelbyville is at Columbus North (2-5) tonight.
