Madi Peterson pitched a two-hit shutout and struck out 11 to push Triton Central’s record to 20-2 this season.
Lillie Fillippinie had three hits, scored four runs and drove in four. Madison Collins also had three hits and drove in three.
Olivia Covarrubias took the loss for Scecina (4-14).
In the other Class 2A, Sectional 43 quarterfinal game Monday, Eastern Hancock defeated Christel House, 13-0.
Triton Central returns to Eastern Hancock today to face Heritage Christian (7-13) in the second semifinal game at 6:30 p.m.
In the semifinal opener, Eastern Hancock (12-11) will host Irvington Prep (4-10).
The Eastern Hancock Sectional championship game is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

At New Palestine High School, Indian Creek’s Delaney Jones pitched a four-hit shutout to bring an end to the Golden Bears season.
Kristen Soots had three hits and scored three runs for Indian Creek (17-5). Addie Schaub drove in two runs.
Gracie Crafton scattered 10 hits over seven innings and struck out three for Shelbyville (17-13).

At Tri High School, the Yellow Jackets broke open a 4-2 game with an 11-run fourth inning to secure the sectional win.
Avery Everhart had two hits and drove in three runs for Morristown (10-10). Nevaeh Cox and Madelyn Shaffer each had two RBI.
Mykynzy Smith and Sawyer Rogers each scored three runs.
Abby Hawk and Rogers combined to limit Waldron to four hits while striking out 11.
Alexis Rogers had two hits for Waldron (0-14). Brooklyn Milbourn drove in two runs.
With the win, Morristown advances to Wednesday’s semifinal round where it will face South Decatur (10-10) at 5:30 p.m.
In today’s quarterfinal round games at Tri, Edinburgh (16-10) takes on Knightstown (13-10) and the host Titans (18-5), ranked No. 8 in the state coaches poll, battle North Decatur (7-12).
