Parke Heritage finished third in the girls golf sectional at Forest Park Golf Course in Brazil and advanced to regional competition.
The team score of 392 by Parke Heritage was four strokes better than fourth place Terre Haute North.
Terre Haute South won the sectional with a 326. The host school, Northview, also advanced to the regional with a second place score of 340.
Taya Sturmer led the Parke Heritage effort with an 81, good for fourth place overall. For Sturmer, it's a new school record for an 18-hole individual score. For the team, a new school record for 18-hole team score as three players shot their personal best at the sectional.
Avery Cassell of Terre Haute South was the sectional medalist with a 72.
South Vermilion carded a team score of 408 and finished fifth in the 13-team field led by Alicia Guinn’s 98.
Cloverdale was eighth with a 427 and South Putnam tenth with a 452.
Celeste Terrell’s 97 was the only sub-100 score for the Clovers. Cloee Pastore had a 111 for South Putnam.
Riverton Parke shot a 484 and with a better fifth player score finished twelfth ahead of Greencastle’s 484.
Jacey Call’s 109 was best for Greencastle while Annabella Campbell scored a 117 for Riverton Parke.
