Shelbyville boys basketball will play in the 42-team Central Indiana Holiday Classic next season.
The Golden Bears will play two pool play games on Jan. 1 at Alexandria High School. Depending on the results, Shelbyville will have a crossover game on Jan. 2 with a team from Pool J.
Shelbyville is in Pool I. The Golden Bears, 19-6 last season, will face Knightstown (9-13) at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 1. They return to the court at 6 p.m. to face Alexandria (15-9).
Pool J includes Boone Grove (11-12), Muncie Burris (10-14) and Tipton (6-17).

The first-place finishers in Pool I and J play at 5 p.m. on Jan. 2 at Frankton High School. The second-place finishers play at 5 p.m. at Alexandria.
The third-place finishers are at Elwood High School at 5 p.m.
Host sites for pool play games are Elwood, Frankton, Alexandria, Lapel, Tipton, Blackford, and Eastern (Greentown).
