The Softball Coaches Association of Indiana recently named 64 high school softball programs as Team Academic All-State.
That list included Shelbyville and Triton Central.
Lawrence Central was listed as the top program with a 4.16 team grade point average. Barr Reeve (4.10, Jac-Cen-Del (4.07), Avon (4.06), Mississinewa (4.02) and Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (4.0) also had team gpas at 4.0 or above.

Shelbyville had the 15th highest gpa at 3.87.
Triton Central, Clay City and Warren Central completed the list at 3.5.
Other notable softball programs honored were Hauser (3.87), Speedway (3.79), Center Grove (3.73), Milan (3.73), Beech Grove (3.7), Mt. Vernon (3.69), Yorktown (3.6) and Jennings County (3.57).
