Morristown High School senior guard Nevaeh Sanders has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Sanders helped the Yellow Jackets claim at least a share of the Mid-Hoosier Conference title after defeating North Decatur 46-41 Tuesday.
Morristown is currently 5-0 in the MHC standings with one conference game left to play -- Jan. 23 at home against Hauser.
Against North Decatur, Sanders finished with 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and three steals.
The Yellow Jackets also won their game on Thursday defeating Beech Grove 53-47. Sanders had 20 points in the win as Morristown head coach Rachel Kleine earned her 99th career win.
Sanders and the Yellow Jackets have won eight of their last nine contests with four games left on the regular-season schedule.
