Triton Central held a 5-point halftime advantage Wednesday but was outscored 40-17 in the second half by Heritage Christian to get eliminated from Class 2A, Sectional 43.
The Eagles secured their second win of the season over the Tigers, 60-42.
Joslyn Marshall scored a game-high 26 points. Casey Frost (15 points) and Riley Johnson (10) also reached double figures to move Heritage Christian (11-12) into Friday’s semifinal round of games at Triton Central High School.
The Eagles will face KIPP Indy Legacy, a 47-20 winner over Christel House Wednesday, in the second quarterfinal contest.
Friday’s semifinals will begin with No. 13 Eastern Hancock (20-3) taking on Irvington Prep (8-11).
The championship game is Saturday night in Fairland.
Maryrose Felling led the Triton Central (14-9) with 21 points. No other Tiger scored more than six.

Waldron advanced to Friday’s semifinal round with its third win of the season over the Spartans.
The Mohawks improved to 8-15 this season and will face South Decatur (13-11) in the second semifinal game at Southwestern.
The Spartans finished the season 3-21.
In the opener Friday, Morristown (15-7) battles North Decatur (16-8). Waldron will then try to avenge a 46-33 loss to South Decatur on Jan. 16.
Boys basketball
Shelbyville 50, Franklin County 33
At Garrett Gymnasium, Caden Claxton scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Golden Bears to their 15th win of the season.
Franklin County (5-12) led 11-10 and 20-19 at the first two breaks before Shelbyville took control in the third quarter.
Claxton and Brody Runnebohm each scored five points in the third as Shelbyville outscored the Wildcats, 15-5.
Mar Nicholson scored six of his eight points in the final quarter as the Golden Bears pulled away.
The 50 total points was the third lowest output for Shelbyville (15-4) this season.
Runnebohm finished with 10 points and Damon Badgley had nine.
Carson Allen led Franklin County with nine points.
Shelbyville won the junior varsity game, 42-33, to improve to 5-10 this season.
The Golden Bears return to action on Feb. 14 against Class 3A, No. 7 New Palestine (16-2) at Garrett Gymnasium.
