Shelbyville won five of the six relay races Thursday on the way to sweeping Columbus East in the Golden Bears’ first home meet of the swim season.
Shelbyville won the boys meet, 92-68, and dominated the girls meet, 92-15.
Anderson Mollenkopf won the 50-yard freestyle (24.57 seconds) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.93) and four more Golden Bears collected first-place points.
Winning events were Brody Jeanette (1:58.56 in 200 freestyle), Everett Stegemiller (1:04.93 in 100 butterfly), Luca Kinker (56.23 in 100 freestyle) and Shia Veach (1:23.76 in 100 breaststroke).
Mollenkopf teamed with Kinker, Jeanette and Stegemiller to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:43.04 and the 400 freestyle relay in 3:49.83.
Paige Bohman and Anne Marie Fansler each won two individual events and helped the Golden Bears win all three relay races.
Fansler won the 200 individual medley in 2:38.55 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.71. Bohman took first in the 50 freestyle (27.03) and the 100 freestyle (1:01.82).
Also winning individual events were Riley Everette (1:01.91 in 100 butterfly), Naomi Garringer (1:13.58 in 100 backstroke) and Chloe Claxton (140.05 points in diving).
The Golden Bears opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay. Garringer, Fansler, Everette and Bohman finished the race in 2:03.03.
Everette and Fansler teamed with Meeghen Bushfield and Kat Seal to win the 200 freestyle relay in 2:00.31.
In the final girls’ race, Everette, Garringer, Bohman and Bushfield won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:49.83.

Columbus North 73, Shelbyville 43
At Columbus North, the unbeaten Bull Dogs (7-0) displayed too much offensive firepower against the Golden Bears (4-2).
Riley Sims and Avery Johnson each scored 16 points and Kaylie Harmon had 14 to lead Columbus North. The Bull Dogs shot 50% from the field in the win and made eight three-pointers.
Columbus North led 25-16 after one quarter then outscored Shelbyville 19-9 in the second quarter and poured in 27 points in the third quarter to pull away for the win.
Shelbyville is at Batesville (4-3) Saturday.
Morristown 40, Blue River Valley 25
At Blue River Valley, the visiting Yellow Jackets led 12-9 after the first quarter then outscored the Vikings (0-7) 13-1 in the second quarter to take a 15-point lead it never surrendered.
Morristown (3-5) will host Class A, No. 8 Tri (4-0) Tuesday.
Roncalli JV 35, Triton Central JV 30
Triton Central trailed 18-2 after the first quarter and never recovered to drop to 7-2 this season.
Lucy Hammerschmitt led the Royals with nine points. Lucy Swartz finished with eight points.
Rylee Pruitt topped Triton Central with five points. Five more Tigers scored four points apiece.
