Shelbyville got a hat trick from Hannah Baker and scored four second-half goals to defeat Greensburg, 5-1.
Ava VanWye scored a goal in each half Thursday and Baker had three goals in the second half to improve the Golden Bears to 5-7-1 this season.
Greensburg falls to 6-4.

Shenandoah 195, Shelbyville 200, Greenfield-Central 207
At Blue Bear Golf Course, the host Golden Bears closed out their regular-season schedule splitting a three-team match with the victorious Raiders and Cougars.
Emmie Higgins led Shelbyville with a 45. Riley Everette followed with a 49. Sophia Asher shot 51 and Kylie Stader posted a 55.
Shelbyville will compete in the Greensburg Sectional Saturday at 9 a.m.
Southwestern 240, Edinburgh Inc.
At Timbergate Golf Course, Edinburgh’s Macie Blandford was the medalist with a 46.
Aurora Belton led Southwestern with a 50. Sydney Griffin followed on the scorecard with a 56. Emma Chandler and Olivia Lahey each shot 67.
The Spartans also head to Greensburg Saturday morning for the sectional tournament.
Boys soccer
Shelbyville 4, New Castle 1
At New Castle, the host Trojans (1-11, 0-5 Hoosier Heritage Conference) led 1-0 at halftime but the Golden Bears scored four second-half goals to earn the conference victory.
Rory O’Connor scored two goals for Shelbyville (6-6, 3-2 HHC). Diego Hernandez and Joao Rivera also found the back of the net.
Indianapolis Lutheran 3, Southwestern 1
At Southwestern, Ethan Sipes scored Class A, No. 7 Southwestern’s only goal in the second half to tie the match but the Class A, No. 19 Saints (6-3-1) responded with two more goals from Abush Rolfsen to defeat the Spartans (7-3-1).
Greenwood Christian 4, Morristown 0
Boden Campbell scored twice and Caden Camden and Sean Nolan added goals to help Class A, No. 8 Greenwood Christian (6-3) defeat the Yellow Jackets.
Girls soccer
Triton Central 3, Warren Central 0
At Warren Central, Rylee Pruitt scored two goals to improve the Tigers to 6-4 this season.
Ariel Walker also had a goal for Triton Central.
Warren Central dropped to 1-10.
Boys tennis
New Palestine 5, Triton Central 0
At New Palestine, Joey McPike needed three sets to defeat Triton Central’s Janssen Capps at No. 2 singles, 7-5, 3-6, 11-9.
The Dragons (13-2) won the other four matches in straight sets over the Tigers (14-2).
Indian Creek 3, Shelbyville 2
The Golden Bears were victorious at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles but could not pull off a third win to defeat the Braves.
Reece Prickett won at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1. Aiden Smith and Wyatt Armstrong cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
Kody Sellers lost 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Zack Lakes made his varsity debut at No. singles and lost 6-2, 6-1.
Aiden Alton and Jack VanWye were defeated at No. 2 doubles, 7-6 (0), 7-6 (6).
Shelbyville dropped to 5-13.
Waldron 3, Connersville 2
At Connersville, Charlie Fischer rallied after losing the first set to Anthony Struewing at No. 1 singles to get a 0-6, 7-5, 6-3 win that sealed the team victory.
Jack Fischer won at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Waldron’s No. 1 doubles team of Lucas Shaw and Cash Young defeated Kolton DeBoard and Maddox Rees, 6-3, 6-2.
Waldron is 10-4 this season.
Volleyball
Morristown def. Waldron, 25-14, 25-14, 25-19
Jackie Corlett and Alivia Fischer led the Mohawks in the loss with four kills apiece.
Corlett also had 13 digs. Ashlyn Ramsey finished with nine assists.
Waldron dropped to 1-12. Morristown improved to 6-9.
Greenfield-Central def. Shelbyville, 25-16, 25-15, 25-17
At Shelbyville, the visiting Cougars pushed their record to 11-6 (2-3 HHC) with the win.
Alivia Lee led the Golden Bears (4-13, 0-3 HHC) with six kills and two service aces. Ashlyn Turner finished with five kills.
Kali Laycock had 15 digs and Addy Marshall led the offense with 10 assists.
Triton Central def. Rushville, 25-10, 25-13, 25-5
At Triton Central, the host Tigers improved to 12-6 behind nine kills from Lucy May and eight kills from Addison Gibbs.
Gwyn Williams served seven aces and Arry Brown finished with 20 assists.
Rushville dropped to 5-10.
