Plymouth Motor Speedway is in search of a new owner.
The following post appeared on the Speedway's Facebook page:
For the past 10 years Brandy and myself have spent countless hours working at racetracks, and we have enjoyed the majority of it. In the past year we have had some devastating family losses, particularly my dad Roger and my mom Joanne. One of their greatest qualities was that they always showed up for whatever us boys had going on and the same for their grandkids. They understood the importance of being deliberate and intentional with investing time in your family.
Brandy and I have missed out on time spent with our children and grandchildren over these years. The loss of my parents was a reality check that time is one commodity in life that you cannot get back.
With that being said we have a strategy that will allow more time with our family, while phasing out our track ownership.
With all parties in agreement, Plymouth Motor Speedway and South Bend Motor Speedway (still) are now for sale and the plan is to bring in new ownership and to help them during this transition.
So what exactly does that mean for our amazing drivers, fans and employees? The 2026 and 2027 etc.etc. will go on as scheduled. We will still provide a great entertainment value at our facilities. As we move forward with this timeline, we will keep you informed of any changes in a timely manner.
Wishing all of you a successful 2026 racing season and thank each and every one of you for your continued support.
