The JV Rockies took to the road again Saturday heading south to Kokomo and coming out on a 30-28 victory. The offensive line again paved the way for the Rockies rushing for over 200 yards. Kwintin Heiny lead the rushing attack with 1 rushing touchdown but had multiple 2 point conversions. Devante Garcia took a 5 yard pass from Lennon Creighbaum for a touchdown. The defense also scored on their end with a 2 interceptions for touchdowns coming from Devante Garcia and Nate Derifield. Reggie Vazquez lead the defensive line by adding pressure to the quarterback all day long. The Rockies move their record to 2-0 and have their home opener against the Warsaw Tigers on September 7th. Kickoff is at 10 am.
