The Plymouth girls golf season came to a close with a sixth place sectional finish at Stonehenge Golf and Country Club Friday.
Those who advance to the regional include: the top three teams who post a team score.Also, the top three low individuals excluding those individuals who advance with a team.
Plymouth teammates Taylor Hauptmann and Hanley Feldman tied for the team’s low score with a 100. Meredith Borden carded a 105 while Katy Longanecker finished with a 108 for a team score of 413.
Warsaw hosted and won the sectional with a 337. NorthWood’s 356 and Culver Academies with a 375 will have them advance as a team onto the regional round.

“The season unfortunately did not end the way we had hoped but I am so proud of this group of girls. They battled all season long and you could tell how much all of this meant to each of them. I am thankful for our 3 seniors and wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors. We will look to continue to build off the growth this season into next year,” said Coach Josh Troyer.
