Plymouth falls at Warsaw WARSAW - The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims weren’t able to catch up after a big first inning for Warsaw and dropped a 10-2 NLC final at Warsaw. While defensively the Lady Pilgrim errors were down, offensively, the bats were much quieter than previous games. Jena Downs lead the Lady Pilgrim offense getting a double. Other players adding base hits were Summer Smith, Josie Koontz, and Sydnee Smith. Summer Smith also scored both of the Pilgrim’s runs. Josie Koontz took the loss on the mound, giving up 7 earned runs, allowing 16 hits, and striking out two. Plymouth will continue play on Saturday at Pioneer for a tri-way with Pioneer and Whiting.
