The quest to make the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Class 7-3A state basketball finals came up short Wednesday night for the Parkview Lady Braves.
They were beaten 33-29 by Teutopolis in the sectional championship game at Paris Mayo.
The squad ends their season with a fine 20-2 record while T'town moves on the state finals with a 24-1 record.
Congratulations to Cameron Sanders of the Lady Braves who recieved a Sportsmanship award at the game and also to her teammates and coaches on an outstanding year.
