Red Hill used a 10-0 run to break open a 21-all tie in the second quarter and didn't trail again in a 68-50 season opening win over Cisne.
Cisne got as close as five points on a few occasions including the end of the third quarter, 47-42. But the Salukis dominated the final frame 21-9 to avenge a season opening loss to the Lions at Cisne in 2023.
Sophomore Marcus Davis was impressive in his varsity debut with eight 3-point field goals and a team high 28 points. Red Hill leading returning scorer Ozzy Ash overcame two early fouls to convert ten shots from the field for 20 points. Teammate Abram Clark also reached double figures with 10.
Avery Arbuckle added eight points including the other two made three-pointers for the Salukis who connected on ten beyond the arc.
Zach Dagg's 21 points topped three Cisne players in double figures. His brother, Kayden Dagg added 10 while point guard Cooper Bowen scored 11.
