The Lawrenceville-Red Hill cross country squad was home for the first time in the 2026 season on Tuesday, September 8th.
They hosted a six-team meet at the Lawrenceville City Park course. Oblong won the team title with 28 points, followed by Clay City-Flora with 35 and Hutsonville with 60. All the other teams did not field a full team.
Individually, Wyatt Rooney of Mt Carmel was first in a time of 18:35.44 with teammate Eli Wilcox second at 18:52.41. The top finisher for the Lawrenceville-Red Hill Indians was Isiah Fuller who was fourth in a time of 19:48.15. Dexter Eagleson of the Indians was twelfth in a time of 22:28.84.
Next meet for the Indians is Saturday when they participate in the First to Finish Invitational meet at Peoria, Illinois.
