Offense was tough to come by for the Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians Wednesday. They were blanked 2-0 on only 3 hits in a rescheduled Little Illini Conference game at Newton by the Lady Eagles. The loss was the second in a row for the squad and drops them now to 9-16 on the season. They are scheduled to step out of conference Thursday as they host Union Dugger (Ind) at 5 p.m. CT at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville.
