The Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians dropped their 2024 season and home opener Wednesday afternoon as they lost 13-3 to the Marshall Lady Lions at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville. Marshall scored 13 runs on 10 hits and made no errors while the Lady Indians scored 3 runs on 5 hits and made 4 errors. Addeline Sanders had 2 of the 5 hits and 2 RBI for the 0-1 Lady Indians. It was the season debut of Brett Judkins as the new Lady Indian head coach. Their next action is scheduled on the road at Carmi-White County Monday.
