It was not a good day for the Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians at Phil Alsman Field Monday.
After a week of inactivity, they returned to action and lost to the Fairfield Lady Mules 5-2. The visitors scored 3 unearned runs on 3 Lady Indian errors. The Lady Indians also had 5 hits on the day-3 of those by Erin Harris. Paige Hill took the pitching loss going 3 innings allowing 5 runs on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks.
With the loss, the Lady Indians are now at 3-4. Their game scheduled at Cisne Tuesday has been cancelled.
