It was quite a 2025 season debut Monday for the Lawrenceville baseball Indians.
Righthander Emery Ivers tossed a complete game no-hitter to lead the Tribe to a 2-0 win over Dieterich at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The junior struck out eight and allowed three walks in the 7 inning performance.
The Indians pushed across two runs in the bottom of the third and Ivers made those stand up in the win.
Lawrenceville scored those two runs on only four hits.
The win came in the first game as new Indian head coach for Greg Cotton.
The 1-0 Indians are back in action Tuesday against the 1-0 Red Hill Salukis in a Lawrence County early season matchup at Unit 20 Ballpark at 4:30 p.m.
